Beats driving to aligash and seeing 1-2 deer in a week! Congrats on a really nice buck! Buck of a lifetime for sure...until your next one!

I took him to get caped out and processed today and stopped to show some buddies at a camp in NH. They commented on the same thing. From the back of his rib cage to his chin he’s just a mass of solid muscle and bone and with his guts out the back half of him actually looks small! Thanks, I’m still trying to believe what happened and wrap my head around the fact I did everything right and didn’t mess up the shot!

Just back from a few days at camp (no deer but had fun). That is a beautiful buck. Congratulations big time!

Thanks D. It got better this afternoon when my son connected with a nice fat spikehorn about a half mile from my kill site. The map recon, landowner visit and on site scouting really paid off considering it was our first time hunting the area.

I think we will. 4 guys, two deer taken. Everyone saw deer, 3 of 4 saw bucks. We had a nice Airbnb cabin that was priced pretty reasonable and the drive from VT was pretty easy at about 2.5 hours and about 4 hours for my son from RI.
It's a nice area for sure. It's about a 3 hour drive for me.
