I've spent a few miles in Chateauquay and a recently passed relative had an off grid house on the edge. Its a seriously overlooked area of big woods in VT and a really cool place to roam around. There have been some studs taken south of Bridgewater (near Plymouth) over the years too, but if I had to guess, I'd say that little patch between 4 and 107 grew that giant.
Lol...aren’t ALL the patches on that map between 4 and 107?

A friend and I were riding atvs in the Chateauguay 4-5 years ago. His started over heating so we stopped at a gentlemans off grid camp to see if we could wash his radiator. I started talking deer hunting with him and he ended up showing us his camp and several gorgeous sets of antlers. He had a beauty non typical mounted on the wall.

He told us he came up there one summer with his girlfriend and he never left.
