Was one of those get in stand late due to work type of days, but you knew you needed to be there as the conditions and time of year warranted it. Scouting this area I knew of a few good deer but all were showing late and sporadic. I snuck in at 4:20pm and around 5:30 i seen this big boy appear...but he did not leave the same way he came. Gave him a sled ride to the truck. Nice 7pt, 186lbs official weight. Pulled my f'n groin dragging him the 250yds up hill most of it. Great night I would not trade it for even a functioning groin!.
