Here’s a buck that was killed in North Andover, MA. My brother had a friend that had a tree stand near this agricultural farm area. The plan was for the guy to get in his stand and my brother would still hunt from a swampy area up the hill towards the stand. My brother jumped a big deer (didn’t see any horns) out of some thick stuff and he radioed the stand guy that something big was coming his way. Sure enough, the stander’s shotgun barked as my brother was working his way up to the stand. When he got there the guy was shaking and obviously excited and said he just got a good shot at a monster buck. They tracked him to the corn field where he lay dead.

Great buck and cool story!! What year was that Mow?
I have to ask my brother as I was wondering the same thing…my guess would be around the 1990’s
This happened because my brother felt guilty because he shot a nice buck while hunting behind that guys house in the Raymond NH area a couple weeks before…my brother volunteered to push his little N Andover honey hole for him while he was in his stand. Turned out good for him!

Just checked with my brother and he said the N Andover MA buck was taken in the 2007 timeframe more or less.
Interesting, my brother used to live in North Andover and has a buck mount he shot with his bow that was taken around that same time as well. There were some nice bucks around there, you just had to be a little low key when scouting as a lot of them were in small peices of woods behind houses. He called me after shooting it because he couldn't find it. I left work and drove an hour down to help him find it. I eventually ended up finding it half submerged in a beaver pond.
