Here in central NH, we are expecting up to a foot of heavy wet snow. It rained til 4am and now currently snowing pretty good. Winds are predicted to increase and power outages are expected due to the snow covered branches coming down.

Yup…inside the 8-12” “predicted” range…I suspect 12+ by the time it’s over…should be close to 3 feet on the ground by tomorrow! (In my yard)

Jeremiah Johnson:
You wouldn't happen to know what month of the year it is?

Bear Claw:
Why no, I truly wouldn't. I'm sorry, pilgrim. Winter's a long time going?

Jeremiah Johnson:
[exhausted] Ah.

Bear Claw:
Stays long this high.

Jeremiah Johnson:
March. Maybe, April.

It’s been snowing in SW VT since daybreak but it hasn’t amounted to anything yet. I saw somewhere that the mountains in the extreme southern part of the state had 22” already.

Nope, not on cape cod, but I might hit southern VT for skiing! 18 days on the slopes already, and man, it has been fun!

We lost power for a little under 2 hours. Snow is actually picking up at this point. We’ve probably gotten 6-8” so far. Plowing our driveway is a friggin mess!!

Ground had thawed out! Worst plowing is in early Fall and Spring conditions! I’ll have to keep my snowblower up off the gravel…
Yes, surprisingly, our power came back after a couple hours too!

Do you have a blower attached to your tractor?

If I ever moved to Maine, I would have an inclosed tractor with snow blower in my attached to house garage. Get in it, push the garage door opener, go out, blow the snow, drive back in and close the door. Never even feel the cold.:giggle:

Londonderry area . Funny , I went for a drive earlier and the snow varied from 8-10 to 12-14 depending on where you were in a 5 mile area . Even just a couple miles from my house it looks like they got 7-8 inches but 3 miles away they got as much as my area. . Cant see over the road banks near me. Plow trucks were running out of places to put it.

It’s still snowing here, but hasn’t accumulated more than a couple inches since I shoveled my back deck at 1. We lost internet service this morning at work around 8 and they sent us home at 10.

I’m ready for spring and black flies on the golf course!!!

Lives in Chester forever. My girlfriend now wife (where we live now) gets substantially less snow(Seabrook beach). Miss that Chester house in the fall. Hunted right out of my back yard. Been doing a lot of hunting in epping since. Got some great spots. My hunting team is down to me and one buddy. I scout and hunt hard. If you’re in the same boat maybe we could team up next season.

Snow here in Eastern Central VT has been falling all day and since midnight last night. Heavy wet slush but only 4 to 5 inches. It is now after 8pm. Hopefully the temperature will drop some so if I have to blow out the yard in the morning it will be easier. No power outages in my area yet. Places 60 miles south of me have nearly 2 ft of snow. Looks like I got lucky. Had 18 to 20 inches of snow on the ground before this.

A friend lives in North Adams , Ma. he's got over 2 1/2 ft. Started snowing here at 5 this afternoon but it's melting when it hits the ground. It's fine with me I don't have any use for it after deer season.
