Definitely a good time to consider selling, you would probably get more then him since you switched out the stocks for wood ones. Wish I picked up a few of those stocks to upgrade a few of my other rifles

It seems to be a good time, but what will the value be in 10 years?
When parts aren't available, lost magazines are 175.00 to replace them....... I would think the "want factor" would subside over time. Sell two, keep one. They're worth what someone is willing to pay is what it comes down to.

Sad part is we all new we should have bought more when we had the chance. I had one in my cart for ages just waiting. Then one day they where all gone.

That's what happened to me with the original Benoit Rifle. I told my friend about them and he bought one. 1000 bucks was a lot of money back then when a regular 7600 was about 400 brand new. I kept putting it off and then Larry cancelled the production early.

With the above on my mind, I bought two of the 35 Whelen carbines, and then just kept thinking, this is the "Holy Grail" for people who are really into 7600's and then bought another. Then they kept making more and more of them and I was thinking well I should be able to at least get my money back, hopefully. Then after a while things skyrocketed.

Actually when you think about it, when adjusted for the current crazy inflation of everything my initial investment probably hasn't grown as much I think. :(

The wild card is will Remington start producing them again, and what will be the quality? If they start becoming readily available and don’t have issues, this madness may stop. For the most part, people use the hell out of these guns and aren’t looking for a beauty queen, just something that operates well.

They better start manufacturing stuff quick here to fund that 73M lawsuit before the go bankrupt again.

I hope they make them again. Its reasons like this that i am a hoarder. When I find an item that I like and works for me i have to buy a bunch because i know it will be gone eventually. This happens with most things. I did the same thing with the beagle jackets. I needed a new coat and did not want to order without trying on so I dragged my feet and then they closed down. Thats another one you could have made a boat load on if you bought a bunch.

A local shop told me they placed an order for 30 of them so apparently they are planning to start production sometime in the near future.

I have the only wood ones..... 😂

The listing you started this thread with is now up to $1,726 .

But you are not the only one with a 35 whelen wood stock . Here is one comparable with yours.
Its already over $2,000 . Its a 7600 and not even a carbine . I bet yours would be in the $2,300 to $2,500 level

Tried to buy something on GB several years ago and it didn't work out.

What I have been reading, more and more, is that it is one guy with deep pockets and other just running up prices.

I too have the wood version of a 35 whelen! Don’t you recall LB? It looks as sweet as your triplets.
