Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and love to film my family’s hunting adventures each year. An amateur at best, I have been lucky enough to push play in time to capture some good hunts in the mountains of NY. Thank you and I look forward to enjoying your posts and sharing some of my own!

Yes longbow a combination of State Land and private. Thanks for the Sub! It’s rugged country where we hunt but it’s worth it!
I used to hunt out of the Tower mountain hunting club, North Lexington New York shot a few nice bucks there, none quite as big as the one you or your wife got though.

That’s so funny- as you were writing I posted that video of her on the woman’s thread. We just drove through Lexington the other day on our way to Spruceton to hike Hunter Mountain. You know my area pretty well then!

I just watched your wife's video. She did a great job. Sometimes you get a buck that can take a lot of lead. :)

Shot my bucks on Patterson Ridge. This was back in 1988-94. Hunted on John Muscacchia's property. (muzzy archery), with John and his Dad. Looks like it is in Michelle(John's sister) Eichler's(muzzy archery) name now. Also, hiked up a big ridge, I think it was Spruceton if I remember correctly to look for a bear after we shot our bucks.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words. I’m also glad to find you all here! I just posted that video- not sure if I put it in the right place because I’m getting a feel for the forum. I posed it in the women in the woods forum. Hope you had a successful hunting season!

Yes, her Buck definitely took a lot of lead as did mine this fall. I learned the hard way never to trust a deer still on its feet! We hunt mostly around Phoenicia and Lanesville. Some of those trout streams we drove past the other day in Spruceton also looked like I should bring a worm or two there in April! Beautiful country near Lexington!
