Hunted last week in the Blackville area, so far the outfitter is 10 for 10. A group of 6 hunted the previous week and tagged out. Our group of 4 tagged out. Monday our guide dropped the first guy at his stand at 4:30. Before he dropped me off at 5, the first hunter had already shot his bear. I shot mine on Wednesday. The bear came in at 6:20, I shot him and he did a complete somersault, never saw an animal do that before. He hit the ground running and a few seconds later I heard him crash. We were tagged out on Friday evening and drove home yesterday. We know the group hunting this week and I expect them to tag out early. They are hunting an area that hasn't been hunted yet this year, yhe outfitter has 13 bait sites in that zone and they've all been getting hit.

The outfitter had 22 hunters over 4 weeks. 100 % shooting oppurtunities with one miss and one wounded and not recovered. The heaviest bear was a 392 lb. slob. The average weight was in the 140 - 150 lb. range. All four groups rebooked for next spring.
