I just ordered a new bear compound bow. It is the species ld. i have a 34 1/8 inch draw and I have a limited selection of bows to choose from. It will be in, in four weeks. Lot's of time for practice until bow season.

Congrats - I got my first bow recently as well. I got a Mathews. I am 6'2" and I have a 29.5" draw. What weight are you planning on shooting. I started at 50# and am just about ready to move it up to 60#. Ideally My goal is 70# this summer and into the fall but I am sure 50/60 will be just fine too. Slinging arrows is quite relaxing and I am really enjoying.

Supply is all messed up for a lot of companies right now. I've been waiting on a bow press a few weeks.
I will say I bought a Bear Constrictor last year...Bear is no longer the same company I grew up buying products from. I'm not going to get all down on them, but I'm not going to talk them up either.
