Beautiful Buck and a wide rack too. That needs to go on the wall. Congratulations!

You’ve had several greats seasons Grey Ghost. That buck last year was a lifetime buck. Did you get him mounted? Are the coyotes issues up there? A lot of cutting going on?

Coyotes keep the deer honest , and cutting on Crown Land is 24/7 .
NB's deer herd population is on a rollercoaster ride , with the lack of winter habitat (cut down) it goes up and down dependent on winter severity.
Yes , this has always been the case but not to this degree.

This past season was a distracted one for me , a death in the family our 1st week kept me coming and going for most of it , and when I was in the woods it was hard to focus .
Last years buck is due back from the taxidermists soon.

Very mild/hot season this year , over on November 20th. Really only had decent hunting conditions the last week of the season , Nov 14-20.
Two bucks shot at my camp this year (3 and 8 pt) , neighbour's camp killed a spike horn , and one of my boys took two (5 and 9 pt) with a bow in NS.
