That's a model 94 Winchester that dates from 1910 , the previous owner modified it a bit (stock change and button mag).
It looks a lot like a 64 or even a 55 .

My boys and I got skunked this year , the only buck I could have shot was a spike and I passed on him.
First thing one rainy morning I was very close to a buck and doe , the buck was grunting and chasing the doe around but it was just too dark to shoot.
My son's buddy Aaron got a nice one last week in NS.

That old Marlin has a lot of miles on it , I've been using it since '84 when it was passed down to me from my Grandfather (1951 336 sc 30-30).
Buck went 2016 lbs.
