I seem to remember a formula that said live weight 250, times .23 guts, is how to do it. That makes it 197.5. But I am going with 211.

How many here drag the deer out whole without gutting??? Maybe farmland deer??

I know growing up in Vermont a lot of people there used to leave the heart, liver and lungs in. My dad did it that way because he didn’t carry a bag for the heart and liver. Used to see a lot of 135-140 pound spikes listed at the weigh stations.
