One of our crew drew an Oct 1st week bull tag in zone 11. We have our camp in 18 but a little too far to drive every day.
Looking for a cabin in zone 11 for Oct 10th thru 17th.
Any recommendations are appreciated.

Don't know of any camps in that zone but you might find some help on this list?

Do you want to hunt in 11 or in 18? You could try to swap it. Someone in 18 probably wants 11.

The lodge/ camps on East Grand are in zone 11... 11 is a pretty good zone!

Windham, ME - Hunt well north of here!
I have hunted a few times and shot a moose in 11. Spend 3-4 days a season deer hunting there the last 20 years. To do it again, I would work that top half of the zone. Try and find something in island falls or Sherman or even Houlton.

That is either real good advice or you have a couple of bulls staked out there trying to keep everyone out of your honey hole :)
Thanks for the advice.

Southern part of the zone can be a sleeper area for good bulls

I would tell ya any intel I have. I did get a 50 inch 850 pound in the southern section which is now littered with windmills.
10-4 on the windmills. They put 13 across passadumkaeg mountain that used to be my go to spot. Now there is a gated road up both sides of the mountain making easy access for those with keys.
You can hear those towers from a long distance. Annoying in my opinion.
