I want the best and I don't mind paying for it.. The closer to the cape the better.. My guy just quit so I'm in search of another... Not going to lie Im sick of seeing hack jobs and guys saying there sweet.....
This is the quality I'm looking for...

Leon Verville in Loudon N.H, or Ed Kenillius . If you don't mind going to Vt. "sleeping giant" does nice work as well. Those are the only 3 who's work I've seen and would spend the money with. I'm a victim of wasted taxidermy dollars before I started going to Leon. He charges more, doesn't guarantee a turn around time. You get it when he's done, and it's perfect. If I have to wait a couple extra months so my mounts last forever, I'm good with that.

I have had 3 different taxidermists and the one I have had the longest, (25 years) looks better than ones from 10 years ago.
Mike at Seacoast Taxidermy in Stratham NH. He's not cheap $700.00 but his work is forever in my opinion and he's doing my 8 pointer from this season. Notice the eyes, nose and the hide on the 11 pointer, then look at the 10 pointer

Mountain deer in Vermont. They are a year out but there’s a reason.
