I got this picture from another forum, apparently this buck was killed in Rhode Island yesterday, what a pig! I travel all around RI for work, and see lots of deer, too bad the access is so tough!

Great Rack on that Buck!! The body doesn't seem to match it though! If that buck came from Maine, Vermont, or NH the body would be much beefier!!

I think you are underestimating him because he isn't in his November coat and all rutted up...

Rhode Island has some impressive deer but as stated, access is very tough. You really need to know someone or be in a family of landowners to have access like that.

You hit the nail on the head. There is a great, cogent example of what it is like to obtain permission in the Ocean State. I will admit that I do have two trail cameras set up in Rhode Island but if I do not see anything I will not buy a license. It is just very convenient for me to hunt due to proximity but it is tough hunting.
