First, if I’ve mentioned this before, I apologize.
This program is available to active military, veterans, LEO’s and other first responders, Hunter Safety instructors, shooting sports and gun manufacturing employees and probably a few others, it’s all on Leupold’s website.
Once you enroll you are eligible to buy products direct from Leupold at a pretty considerable discount. I’m partial to the VX-Freedom 2-7x33 and have purchased 4 of them in the last few years. The retail price is $299 and they are offered at $215 in the VIP program. Availability is sometimes spotty, especially with the more popular items but they do have a “contact me when it becomes available” on the website.
Hopefully some of you are eligible to use this and save a few bucks so I thought I’d share the news!

Oh, you know what I just looked looks like they are eligible. They were not several years ago last time it tried.

Thanks, for the info!

Thanks for that info. I need/want a new scope for my new Tikka T3x Compact. Been looking on-line at the
VX-Freedom 3x9x40 with the Hunt Plex reticle. Haven’t read any opinions on this model but they should be
positive as well. First thing on tomorrows ‘to do list’ is dig out my discharge paperwork and reach out to Leupold.

Got my account on Thursday, my authorization Friday morning and bought the scope Friday afternoon.
I went with the VX-Freedom 3-9x40 with the Hunt Plex reticle. Leupold gave a 28% discount off the $299.99
retail price. The VIP price was $215.99, $84 savings is very generous I think. Should arrive Tuesday 3/14 from Oregon.
The threaded ‘caped’ top turret and Hunt Plex reticle were key selling points for me.

I'm guessing anying with a ".mil" email can probably get it as well.
Check the Leupold website for VIP Program, it will tell you exactly what documents you need to provide
to verify the status you are apply under. I applied as a veteran and had to provide copies of my
Discharge and DD214 paperwork. The website is clear and easy to use.

Looks like I'd be covered.

Did you see any requirements for First Responders/Retired. I don't see any.
Apparently I misspoke in my original post. Active and retired first responders who are not law enforcement are not included in the program. My apologies!
