Ally, short for Allagash, my 11 year old golden. Never a bird dog but always enjoyed going hunting. Not sure she even suspected that a bird was around. She has cancer and on her last legs so she is now really spoiled. She has been a great dog.

Here are my two. The Beagle in the back of the second picture and sunny himself in the leaves is Melvin because he looked like a little old man when we got from the MSPCA when he was 9 years old. He was my sons bed bud till he passed away. Melvin lived to be 18 years old and we had to put him down just last year. Amazing little dog. I have no idea what the front 9 years of life looked like but his last nine he was loved a lot. The mini shepherd is Ginger. She's one of the most gentle dogs I've ever had. She is 14 years old and is also on her last legs. The hips are starting to fail. Love these dogs. They have always been there for me since I've had them.

We have 2 puppies. They'll be a year old this July. Blue on the left and Bo on the right.

They are Australian Kelpies; herding dogs. They look playful and goofy in the picture above, but when they see another critter (or, sometimes children) they get very serious about their herding instinct! This picture my daughter took was me chilling with the boys; right when she snapped the picture, one of the cats had walked into the room. See how intent they are?

They are wicked fast too. I've never had/seen dogs that run as fast as they do!

1408544457200.jpg Here's my boy Digger. Black lab mixed with Corgi. Sick an awesome dog. Listens better than my 3 kids. Should I avoid taking him in the woods with me on account of scent?

Here is our newest pup. He is about 14 weeks in this pic. He is going to be my wifes service dog. He'll pull her wheelchair when needed, help her up if she's fallen, alert her before she falls( hopefully) lol. So far he has been fantastic and is picking up basic obedience very quickly. We really didn't think we would find another dog as mellow and supportive as her current dog but this guy really seems to have the right stuff so far. I was really hoping to train him for pheasant but my wife also has a few parrots that he totally ignores so I don't think it's going to be in the cards for him.
