Congrats!!!, There have been some big boys taken in Ct this year. From what I saw on Saturday I suspect the 2nd phase of the rut is on!
Hopefully they are still on the prowl Saturday.

That's like a Maine deer. Are 210 pound dressed deer common in that area of Connecticut? I'm thinking that's a pretty heavy weight for the state.

I see a couple 200 plus pound deer shot in CT yearly, this is the 1st one I shot here in CT in quite sometime though.
