If anyone happens to use the Federal Power Shok 220 gr 30-06 ammo it looks like it's being discontinued according to their website

Bummer, but I feel your pain shooting .338 Federal. Interestingly, the PowerShoks are the only load that doesn't group in my rifles. Apart from handloading, do you have another source of 220-grainers?

Seems as if they discontinued a bunch of ammunition

They have been making ammo 24/7 for years now. Where is it? lol
Ukraine. It’s more profitable for all government officials.

We can’t even get shot for Ramset concrete guns. I was told it’s more profitable to make real rounds vs. the blanks those tools use.

I've been following Federal's website for some time. There are MANY rounds that you can't get, but only a small percentage are actually marked "discontinued". Here's hoping they catch up. In some cases, their "Custom Shop" ammo was the same price as their production ammo, but even some of that is becoming unavailable. If they had to discontinue a .338 Federal line, I wish it was the 200-grain PowerShoks instead of the 185-grain MSR. Hoping to see DoubleTap get caught up soon too.

Federal has a bad habit of doing this with ammo over the years. Only to start producing certain lines again down the road. They have done that with the 225 gr Whelen a couple of times.

So when do you think they'll ramp up the oddballs again? Fortunately, I stocked up, but if they don't start cranking out more .338 Fed in the next 5-10 years, I'll have to reload or go back to .308.
