I joined 24 other guys for a full day trip with Eastman’s out of Hampton yesterday. We were on their Seacost Lady, a 75 footer. It was a little choppy with 3-4’ swells in the wake of hurricane Earl but not bad. Fishing was decent, lots of action but also a lot of short fish. I came home with one keeper cod, four haddock, half a dozen pollack, a few ling cod and a couple of redfish. The crew worked hard to put us on fish all day and I don’t think anyone went away did disappointed.

Mmmm…haddock! Used to love those trips! Been many years since I went and there were no haddock either…all I can recall are cod. Maybe I went at the wrong times?

I love going out and I went early this spring. No cod but lots of haddock and redfish. Unfortunately the guy that put the trip together every year has since passed away so I’m not sure how often I’ll be going any more.

East mans has a very good reputation. I’ve been thinking of a haddock trip with them

I live three minutes from the dock. Go out with them often. Have two marathons scheduled. Sept 26 and Oct 17th. Eastmans is great. Spring and fall fishing is always more productive than mid summer for sure.
