Maybe 270's doctor was skeptical of the treatment.
Could be , but my daughters doctor ga e it to her as a treatment being in her 3rd trimester of pregnancy and she was feeling better in 3 days. Same treatment Trump and Rogan received. Both recovered within days. That’s the only reason I was curious. Course some media outlets reported that Rogan was taking “horse dewormer” due to taking doses of Ivermactin. You can find some pretty interesting articles if you choose to search it. One being that the patten has run out and it costs very little to make, therefore not very profitable during a pandemic.Maybe 270's doctor was skeptical of the treatment.
When I called the doctors office after I had tested positive, and I was supposed to get the ivermectim. I found out tuesday that the nurse practitioner was directing my care. The doctor wasn't in then. I'm waiting for a call from my doctor now for an explanation
The jab does not prevent you from contracting Covid-19. There are millions of fully vaccinated individuals who have contracted the virus. However, it does prevent you from ever acquiring natural immunity to the Covid-19 virus. Thus, you are dependent for life on whatever yearly does they deem you require.I'm glad I got the jab. Got the booster 3 weeks ago. Explain to me how being sick for weeks is better than being healthy.
The only catch is you have to survive the virus before you get the natural immunity. Most do, but some don't for whatever reason. Getting the shot may lessen the symptoms, but may affect your natural immunity. Not an easy decision with so much conflicting and unknown factors. The jab does not prevent you from contracting Covid-19. That's to bad about your friend. I still remember when the polio vacine came out. They had a clinic set up in the parkjng lot at the local firehouse. We got the vacine orally on a sugar cube. Coincedently the firehouse is located next to Pfizers research center.I guess I’m a sucker. Gotten both shots plus booster. Glad my parents had me vaccinated for small pox, and polio to name a couple. I had a good friend that got polio as a very young boy in the 1950’s. Braces on his legs and crutches all his short life. He passed away at age 40. That said, I am in no way an advocate for mandates for shots, masks, etc

NH Hunter … I was not in any way insulted or feeling disparaged by anything you said. I just was using the term “sucker” loosely I guess. Happy hunting my friend.I too am vaccinated for all those as well. I hope my post didn't come off as anyone getting vaccinated is a "sucker". By no means what so ever is that my opinion. I respect you and every other persons medical privacy. All I want is the same in return..... respect and privacy.
Showing papers, losing employment, closing businesses all seems like government over reach to me. Vilifying citizens who ask questions in regards to a vaccine that has never been allowed (RNA) let alone in this magnitude of testing. Which by the way, none of the above vaccines you, or I have had were RNA vaccines.
Let me be clear..... I can't stand Trump as a leader. He is divisive, the name calling is childish, and sending more tweets per night than my 14 year old daughter checks her snapchat is not presidential in my opinion. However, I liked an benefited from his policy making but do not like the guy. With that being said, he got shafted by the media daily. Imagine if he ran on "I will not make vaccines mandatory" then did. Remember when he tried to close our borders for safety from the virus and was called a racist by the press? Where is that this week in the Wall Street journal about Biden. He's closing the border to 7 South African countries. I don't need the media to tell me that's a smart idea. Frankly it's the first thing he's done that makes sense in my opinion. It would be nice if he'd close the southern border as well, but that's getting on a tangent.
Any way..... I want to be clear I do not have a negative opinion about anyone making a choice of how they want to take care of their body. That's way our nation is the best on this rock. I just don't want to see that continue to be taken from us.
I will also include trust issues with Fauci. This guy is the one promoting an telling people to get vaccinated, but refused/refuses to tell the truth about the origin of this virus and gain of research funding. That puts a pretty heavy lean in my credibility meter. Oh... and let's not forget , while his mandate suggestions are costing people jobs, their livelihood an businesses, he's still employed by the federal government.
Just read a post you made in another thread that your doctor stated you didn't qualify for alternative treatment. I think if I was in your situation....... Personally I'd be shit canning him or her and finding someone that was interested in getting me well quicker. You losing that much weight, and feeling like hell for 3 weeks was not necessary. You were failed by a doctor, not your choice of how to take care of your health. Kinda proves my point about trust issues with the Pharma and hospital industry doesn't it?
Not sure if he was unvaccinated, but that is enough to qualify him. With the monoclonal antibody treatment your doctor does not have a say in whether you qualify for it or not. It is a clinical trial and there are requirements that you have to have been diagnosed as to have contracted covid recently, have a certain BMI and / or have qualifying co morbidities that put you at additional risk when contracting covid. If you qualify those then your doctor is allowed to recommend the treatment. If you do not they will not take you.
Do not blame the DR for what is out of his control
Maybe in Mass.....? I know of two women that were told NO at first, but pissed and moaned enough to receive it. They were both healthy, just being proactive in getting better. With the monoclonal antibody treatment your doctor does not have a say in whether you qualify for it or not.
