Cheap Reel Review(16.99)

Have been fishing with this reel all week. Caught 80+ trout using it mostly with spinners and stick baits. Has been flawless. Smooth retrieve with a nice smooth drag. Have it set up with 8lb. Just thought I would post it in case someone was looking to equip a couple more rods for cheap. I bought 4 more.

I get frustrated taking my kids fishing up there. Seems like it's 90% fly fishing only on the small ponds up there, only a couple swampy ones are open to all methods. My 7 year old son loves fishing and can't understand why we can't fish in all of the great looking ponds. We usually just end up hitting a few small brooks.

Tell him those ponds and fish are for old out of state folks with dry flies. He'll understand.

Had good luck with it Saturday morning in Pittsburg NH.
bigger one was 3.4lbs, nice fight on lite tackle. 4lb braided, brass super duper.

yeah the left side (looking at pic) is a lot deeper and much more accessible with a kayak. I have had good luck there over the years.
