So a big old bull goes down with the bow. Classic hunt close to water in a remote area not too far from Marathon. I cow call and bull answers. This bull started out about 400-500 yards away and worked his way slowly right to my location. My last call was when the bull shut up for a while and was at about 150 yards. I seen him many times on his way in but he often dissapeared into dark timber. My heart was pounding out of my chest as he drew closer. I was in a perfect spot with wind blowing out over the water and me on a small peninsula. He had to come by that point to find the lonely cow. He found a slick trick instead. 30 yard shot. Very massive basses. Super heavy rack! Great brows. Some decent palms. 44" wide.
Thanks to my son for much needed help from buddy Dinger.
Mathews Q2. Slick Trick broadheads. Complete pass through at about 25 yards. The bear is about 250lb Sow. Not the biggest bear at my bait sites but I really couldn't pass up the opportunity. Didn't know how many more times I was going to get out. Was time to go after antlered critters.
Great pics guys. Like NBBUCK, I have started taken my bucks pictures as and where they drop.
Hey bad, nice buck, any thoughts on what the chest pathology is?
