The heaviest was 255 lbs, shot in Allagash on 11/23. Number 10 was 245.6 lbs shot in Madrid on 11/16. I was surprised that the weights weren't heavier.I never saw the Maine Sportsman issue that reports on the patch bucks for the most recent season. Anyone know what the biggest weighed and where it was supposedly taken? Thank you

I hunted Russell Mtn/5th St John area in ‘86. Logging was 24 hours to get ahead of Spruce Budworm. Some serious clearcuts. Large areas you can’t see 10 yards now you could see forever. There was a huge snowstorm second or third week (can’t remember which) that may have contributed to more big bucks falling to hunters. Plus there were more deer around then.I’m guessing that is a product of the deer yards at that point? Was that prior to the mass cutoff of the yards?
The dates are listed unless you are talking about something else. https://www.mainesportsman.com/2019-biggest-bucks-in-maine-club-listing/I'd love to see harvest dates on some of these heaviest bucks. I'm sure 3 weeks can make a big difference in what they weigh.
Ahh, I had to flip my phone to see them. The dates are listed unless you are talking about something else. https://www.mainesportsman.com/2019-biggest-bucks-in-maine-club-listing/
If someone was good with numbers it would be interesting to see percentages over the years with those numbers.Ahh, I had to flip my phone to see them.
