Some may remember the fat bear I have been seeing for years.
Well, tonight he came in. The early bear season ended yesterday.:(
Was sitting with my son waiting for a buck. I walked over to persuade him to leave, but he was not to afraid and just stood there, reluctantly walking away after I told him to get out. Same thing he did years ago. My son snapped a pic of me. He ended up coming back right at dark. We both walked over at dark and he moved off again. This time making some grunts and groans. No deer seen.
Here are two pics from a few years ago. Pretty sure it is the same one.

Big bear, what a gut, lots of good food in his area. He should sleep real good this winter.

Too funny. Chasing them out of the hunting spot to make room for a deer. Love it.

That is THE BRUIN of all bears.
That's what I was thinking. I may really have to try and get him next October. We have another week of bear season first week of December, but I usually don't see him then, although a lot of other bears are still out here in NJ.

I maintain that fat bastard, comes from a strain of mutated pot-belly-pig...his ancestors must have visited the piggy farm somewhere along the line. :D

The man with two first names holds the Maine state record bear? Huge one. That photo gives a good perspective on the size.

Congratulation to the hunter.
