Exojam,
They are looking very good. The only thing I would do now is on the last one. For some reason the top bud (just above the yellow tape) on this tree did not take off. The bud below that did take off and wants to be the main leader so I would take the clothes pin off it and let it take off. It should start growing back upright.
Once it hardens off ( turns from the soft green to more brown) then you could take some jute string and gently pull it more upright if it doesn't pop back up.
Yes, I'm sorry it would be the second one so that long branch on the left side grows up. Next winter you would prune off the section just above it so that the energy goes into that limb.
Exojam,
Any updates or photos? I'm guessing your branch angles should be set now.
If the ends of the branches are starting to go out and upwards you can remove the clothes pin from the original spots and try clipping them further out on the end of the branches to get them out straighter.
Yes. Those little spots are called cedar apple rust. The trees you have are resistant to it. That's why it's important to buy/plant disease resistant trees. It can kill non resistant trees. It's caused by red cedars. White cedars do not cause it. In the mid west where red cedars are prevalent it can cause major problems on non resistant trees. Yours should be ok.
