I’d keep any eye on gun broker. Bad time to buy but with patience you might find a deal. I grabbed a 760 in .35rem off of there a couple years back for $400 so you can find decent deals.... or at least you could

I have been watching gun broker, I know it’s not the best time to buy but there prices seem fairly high.

They typically have an assortment, I stop there often on my way to camp. Nice shop.

You'll pay top dollar and maybe a little more for anything on Gunbroker that's in descent shape. Kind of late to start your search now that it's 'prime time'. You'd do better to wait until after Christmas and start checking the local gun stores, business tend to slow down for rifles in the dead of winter. Be patient but persistant and you may find something that is priced fair. Good luck. NYHunter

Wow...that is high. I have two 30-06's in Walnut that are 7600's. I never thought about selling one but also didn't realize they have appreciated that much!

MacPherson Firearms in Brentwood NH next to NE Dragway took in a nearly mint model 76 in '06 last week. It is a basic one no checkering but the action was good and I believe they are asking $500.00
