It’s the same bill as last year

The tree stand portion only the bold is new

The trail cam portion about same day cell cam pics is the same EXCEPT changing it to within 24 hours (big change)

The portion about permission is wholly new and was written by the timberland owners assn AND the nh farm bureau

Both those large groups want cameras by permission only

Fg attorney advised that since nh is a two party permission to record state that it was a tricky thing to allow cameras without land owner permission

Hard to read those documents without straining my good eye! 😂
I suspect hunters that put out cams will keep doing so but be more discrete about it no matter what the idiots in the govt say…my .02

I find it hard to believe any Hunter is going to report another Hunter for not following stupid new cam rules. To each his own. I don’t see where your cams disadvantage me or impact my hunt in anyway. Who doesn’t have a huge buck on their camera that they have never seen or heard of anyone else seeing in person?

If a land owner doesn't want cameras on their property so be it. It could be a lot worse , they could post the property.

Very true, but wouldn’t you think those who were posting would’ve done so long before this camera bill? I don’t understand the angle of the farm bureau or timberlands association.

What does a trail camera in the woods harm? After all , we’re being allowed to use the land (and I’m beyond thankful to those who do allow hunting) with a loaded firearm, but the concern is camera placement in the woods??? Seems odd when you look at it that way doesn’t it?

Might be input from the members . It would seem they own substantial parcels of land. But I agree it is odd.

. I was told that last year by the president of New Hampshire Wildlife Federation the members of FB and TLA wanted /sponsored this. Diane can correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought this stemmed from the southern part of the state. There was a giant buck, he lived in a small patch of woods and a lady had "dozens" of game cameras all around her back yard. I heard or read that some place.

I would think land getting posted is more likely if permission for a camera was required. Let's be honest..... there's some rude people in the world. The hunting community isn't absent of them. Be it 9:30 pm phone calls or knocking on a door Sunday morning at 6 am for permission, it's bound to happen. Then what? Posted land because people don't want to be harassed for permission.

It’s many similar cases to that one
Cameras in stupid places
Guys having camera battles over big buck
Land owners getting creeped out by lots cameras places they or their kids go

Unfortunately this bill is 100% the result of hunters putting cameras stupid places or behaving like kids

It greatly pains me to say that

There’s also the cell cameras on video vs the nh two party permission to record in private locations law which Fg attorney said this was right on the line of violating

I’ve heard an amendment will be made tomorrow
Have to wait to see what it is

Listening to the senate hearing on the trail camera bill SB 14

Do you know trail cameras are the number one complaint FG gets from landowners?

Do you know 76% of NH land is private owned?

Hunters need to do better, land owners should never be afraid of cameras or creeped out by them

If this bill passes it’s on some Hunter’s as to why
