That was just the deer I got. He ran about 40 yards after the shot and layed down, which is pictured. He got up and only went another 20 and was done.

Man alive, it’s amazing that he got up. Like I always say…a buck or a bull in peak rut is just like a drunk in a barroom with closing time approaching
