2016 Anticosti Renard openings

This has to be acted on fast. I have a hold on 4 spots at Renard for November 18th to the 25th. This camp hasn't had a Nov opening for years. I'm not sure why these 4 hunters had to cash in these dates, and don't really care. I know for sure that these dates are during prime rut in an area well known for bigger deer on the island. This is a 6 day hunt, not 4 like most of the camps. For a group of 4 hunters, this camp can be locked up for the future. This past season was tough hunting on the island because of a couple of hard winters. The deer come back quickly, and as of now, the island is having a real mild winter. These spots are in demand with numerous groups calling Sepaq wanting the week. I have a small window to try and put this together, so if interested POST and I will contact you. The canadian exchange rate right now is way in our favor. This is a great opportunity for 4 hunters to lock this camp up for future years.

I've hunted with a group for the last three years, and have a hold on Jupiter le Mer for 11/17-11/22/16. Have always wanted to do a 6 day hunt, but those dates that run through Thanksgiving are tough for many of us. Would love to discuss with you.

We should be passing each other at the Port Menier Airport. I fly into Anticosti on Nov 25th and would like to hear how things went in Renard. I have been hunting out of Vaureal since 2007 but this year I will be hunting Galiote. I will keep in touch and try to look you up at the Airport.

I ended up not booking at Renard for this year. I will be hunting at Marten Lemer with a bunch of friends on the winter hunt. Last year was a overall tough hunt plus the weather warmed up and deer movement was minimal. Hopefully this year it will be much better. Stay in touch and we can swap stories....
