I saw multiple schools (I think HS classes project grad) raffling moose tags this year, presumably from a lodge tag. Some of the best odds you might ever get. That said, you were on the hook for all taxes and fees based on the $35,000ish valuation .
I've read other complaints about the "darkness" or shade of the fleece cape. I didn't think it was much of a "blaze" orange either. That said, do you really think any warden would give you a hard time over it?
I don't disagree. I would be lying though if i said that I wasn't somewhat jealous of these guys who's wives don't mind them being gone hunting all the time. It sure doesn't fly in this household. haha.

The advancements in GPS and other electronic mapping has allowed people to venture out I think. Before you more/less had to know where you were going, otherwise you just stayed on the marked trails. Now, you can venture off without too much risk, and to your point, with the number of people...
That was my only complaint of the fleece cape. It isn't really "blaze", it's just orange, and a dark one at that. I don't think a warden would ever give you a hard time over it, but if you're looking for something bright, that probably isn't for you.
