My oldest son hunted from about 5 to 13-14. Then he discovered that girls were warmer and smelled better. He didn’t hunt for a long time. At 25ish he picked it up again and is obsessed. It goes in spurts I guess
My youngest never gave it up
I used Herters to shoot the only deer I ever have killed with a 243. No issues and it was accurate in that rifle. I think at the time it was made by PPU. It is now made by Winchester
Pretty discouraging to see the condition of the moose that are infested with ticks and very sad seeing the calves standing around waiting to die in the winter. The moose my brother killed last Fall was rubbed in a few places but not that bad. f
Was thinking about this. Again, not Vermont. I know people who bought their kids lifetime licenses. Kids left the state and haven't returned to hunt or fish. Wonder what percentage of the sales are like that?
I have made many gestures, offers, and suggestions about his boat and hunting spots, being the nice guy I am. All of them more than fair and generous but they seem to fall on deaf ears. He'll learn that dear ol' dad wasn't wrong after all. The Croc collection he can keep.
